In exactly two months it's time! FMR is back!

The biennial festival once again presents artistic positions that reflect the ephemeral nature of our digital and connected present. It focuses on the shifts, distortions and rifts that come with the ever-increasing digitalization of everyday life and presents contemporary artists from the fields of visual art, media art, Internet art and performance who are dedicated to this phenomenon.

In exakt zwei Monaten ist es so weit! FMR ist zurück!

Das biennal stattfindende Festival präsentiert auch heuer wieder künstlerische Positionen, die den ephemeren Charakter unserer digitalen und vernetzten Gegenwart reflektieren. Es fokussiert die Verschiebungen, Verwerfungen und Brüche, die eine immer weiter fortschreitende Digitalisierung des Alltagslebens mit sich bringen und stellt zeitgenössische Künstler*innen aus Bildender Kunst, Medienkunst, Internet Art und Performance vor, die sich diesem Phänomen widmen.

FMR 21 findet von 1. bis 6. Juni 2021 statt. Nach der Erstausgabe 2019 entlang der Linzer Donaulände wird dieses Mal das Areal rund um den Linzer Mühlkreisbahnhof in einen offenen und frei zugänglichen Ausstellungsraum transformiert. Dazu gibt es ein mehrtägiges Programm mit Symposium, Artist Talks, Rundgängen und Konzerten.
